Our Story

Trōv Object Gallery is an online contemporary jewellery platform by long-time collaborators Chantel Gushue and Emily Wareham. We are both makers and champions of craft with a love for interesting and high-quality artist-made jewellery. With this experience, we have a unique perspective on the position of contemporary jewellery in the creative marketplace. Trōv Object Gallery, a curated collection of innovative and design-forward jewellery, was born.

We believe contemporary jewellery deserves an elevated platform that is approachable. Trōv is an experience for jewellery lovers looking for that offbeat piece to set off their individual and personal style. We offer objects for the body as well as jewellery for the home. It is our mission to support artists by showcasing small production and one of a kind objects by forging connections between makers and lovers of all things handmade.

Land Acknowledgement

Trōv Object Gallery operates virtually within Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq. This territory is covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship of 1726. We acknowledge the Mi’kmaq who have cared for and continue to care for this land.

We, the owners and operators of Trōv, are of settler-colonial ancestry. Like many other settler people, we have benefited greatly from living on Turtle Island. As individuals and as a business, we dedicate ourselves to deepening our learning, moving toward seeing our business from a decolonial perspective.
